Tankwa Padstal in the Karoo is on the R355 about 70km from Ceres, on the way to Calvinia and the
Tankwa Karoo National Park, but for a lot of people it is somewhere between nothing and nowhere.

The Tankwa Padstal is a farm stall/diner/convenience store that sells anything from sweets, chips and
cold drinks to matches, bug spray, airtime, crafts, clothes and more! We have homemade preserves
and all things yummie.

We serve homemade food made with love and our roosterkoek is a must have when you stop by.

We have a heart for the community of the Tankwa Karoo. That is why one of our very special days
in the year is the Tankwa Community Day.
